Charles B. Stockdale
Vice President and General Counsel
Charles Stockdale is Vice President and General Counsel for Fibertech Networks. In this position, he has responsibility for all of the company's regulatory and legal activities.
Stockdale joined Fibertech in 2000 from Adelphia Communications Corporation, where he served as Deputy General Counsel with responsibility for the legal aspects of operational matters. In that position, he advised the company on business and regulatory issues relating to the provision of cable television, telecommunications, and Internet access services. His responsibilities also included regulatory compliance, supervision of the company's litigation efforts, and procurement of governmental consents for municipal franchise renewals and transfers.
Prior to joining Adelphia, Stockdale served as Counsel to the Cable Television and Telecommunications Association of New York. In this position, he represented cable television companies and their telecommunications affiliates before state regulatory and legislative bodies. He appeared before the state Public Service Commission as an expert witness on matters relating to facilities-based telephone competition as well as access to utility right-of-way facilities.
Stockdale earned a B.A. degree from Yale University and J.D. and MBA degrees from Cornell University.
