Fibertech Networks, L.L.C., a leading provider of metropolitan bandwidth services in mid-size cities, today announced it has been recognized with five service excellence awards in the 2009 ATLANTIC-ACM Metro Connectivity Report Card survey. The industry-wide report is based on the results of more than 3,000 individual ratings of carrier’s network services and the operations behind those services. It’s widely regarded as the broadest benchmarking tool in metro wholesale telecommunications. Fibertech received the best-in-class honors in five overall categories among competitive telecom providers: brand, sales reps, network quality, customer service and billing (tie). Earlier this year, the company received similar recognition from business customers in the ATLANTIC-ACM Business Connectivity Report Card survey, placing first in six different categories including brand, sales representatives, network quality, provisioning, customer service and billing (tie). “We are extremely pleased to earn these high marks from both our carrier and enterprise clients alike,” said Fibertech Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Hurley. “These honors validate our efforts to provide service excellence to our customers and recognize the value of our service offerings to meet the metro demand for bandwidth services.” “Fibertech has a proven track record with their customers, and over the four years we have been conducting this research Fibertech customers have consistently given them high marks for both operational efficiency and product quality.” said Dr. Judy Reed Smith, CEO of ATLANTIC-ACM.
